  I am Programme Director for BA Fine Art where I also lecture in the History and Theory of Art. I studied MA Study of Mysticism and Religious Studies at the University of Kent where I wrote a thesis on the function and iconography of 15th century Italian Tarot cards. Phenomenology and Hermeneutics are central to my teaching and formed the methodological ground for my thesis. I also have practical and theoretical interests in puppetry and European folk culture.
