Dr. Holly Atkins is an Associate Professor of Education and Chair of the Undergraduate Education Department at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. Dr. Atkins has been a faculty member at the University since 2011. Prior to that time, Dr. Atkins served as an adjunct instructor at the University of South Florida while also teaching middle grades English Language Arts at various schools in the Pinellas County School District. Dr. Atkins is the co-principal investigator for the National Science Foundation-funded Noyce Scholars Grant program, and the Director of the Saint Leo University Teacher Technology Summer Institute. Dr. Atkins' research interests include effective teacher education, integration of technology in teacher education programs, and teacher professional development.
