I am a 23 year old GIS Technician and M.Sc. Geoinformatics student at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. I enjoy reading, music and travelling. In 2014, I dreamed of becoming a surveyor but after pursuing two years of the Geomatics Engineering degree, I fell in love with GIS. At the end of 2016, I became interested in sustainable development within Trinidad and Tobago and in 2017, I attended ESRI's Geodesign Summit as a student scholarship recipient. This solidified my interest in sustainability since it was was amazing to see how people, man-made structures and the environment can thrive in harmony. Currently, I have been trying to take advantage of any opportunity I have to highlight the dire need for sustainable development in Trinidad and Tobago.I hope that one day my country's Government and people can utilize the research I provide and have provided to help achieve our Sustainable Development Goals.
