  Main areas of research includes: i)Economics Education, ii)Inflation and Growth and iii)Market integration. Dr. Mallik is an active researcher and continuously publishing approximately two journal articles (referred) per annum. So far he has published 17 articles in internationally reputed refereed journals (e.g. Singapore Economic Review, Journal of Economic Studies, Journal of International Business Studies etc.) Dr Mallik is also engaged in community activities (with local Higher Secondary students) with the Parramatta City Council.
