  The author, Dr. Francisco Wong, is currently a professional English Language Teacher and has been working in a college in Hong Kong. He has been teaching language subjects especially English Language for more than 20 years from junior secondary to post-secondary institutions. He aspires to be a language educator in the area of tertiary teacher training education. Having studied Language Studies and Applied Linguistics for over a decade, he got a Bachelor Degree from Ohio University in the US, two Post-graduate Diplomas in Education from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and the City University of Hong Kong, a Masters Degree in TESOL from the University of Stirling in the UK and two Masters Degree in Linguistics and Psychology of Edication from the City University of Hong Kong. Years ago, he earned a Doctoral degree in the stream of Language Education (English) in the programme of Doctor of Education in The Education University of Hong Kong. His areas of interest are Grammar Instructions, Systemic Function Linguistics, L2 Classroom Pedagogies, Teaching Strategies in L2 Classrooms and Bi-lingual Studies in Code-switching.
