I am Associate Professor of Literary Theory and Criticism at University of Porto, Portugal, having completed my PhD in English Literature (on Walter de la Mare's poetics). Member of ACLA and ICLA, my interests focus on theoretical and comparativist..
I am Associate Professor of Literary Theory and Criticism at University of Porto, Portugal, having completed my PhD in English Literature (on Walter de la Mare's poetics). Member of ACLA and ICLA, my interests focus on theoretical and comparativist literary themes combined with philosophy and linguistics/semiotics, as well as the visual and plastic arts. I'm currently a collaborator of Routledge's "ABES" (Romanticism) and "The European Legacy", being also founder and editor-in-chief of the academic e-journal on children's literature, "e-fabulations" (Porto,ISSN 1646-8880). As member of CETAPS (Centre for English,Translation and Anglo-Portuguese Studies) I translated to Portuguese "Richard II" (Porto,ISBN 972-610-555-2,2002) and "The Winter's Tale" (Porto,ISBN 989-625-104-5, 2006) and have "Romeo and Juliet" in final preparation.
