...MoreElisa Terry is currently the FitWell Director at UCLA Recreation. In this position, she manages all aspects of fitness and wellness programming at UCLA. This includes a campus wide wellness initiative, strength and conditioning operations, personal fitness training, group exercise, mind/body programming, and a program of over 250 weekly classes. In addition to managing these programs, Elisa teaches several classes herself and trains UCLA students to become certified Group Exercise Leaders and Personal Fitness Trainers. Elisa enjoys a fairly busy schedule outside of UCLA, providing expert witness work in the litigation of fitness injuries & negligence, teaching and personal training in a small private business, and lecturing in the Los Angeles community.
Elisa graduated from UCLA. At UCLA, she completed the UCLA Sports Medicine Athletic Training Program and was a member of UCLA Women’s Intercollegiate Rowing Team. Elisa is a physical activity enthusiast, advocate and active participant of all types of movement! She loves to MOVE and sincerely appreciates the power of MOVEMENT!
