  I am a PhD student at the University of Derby and Research Assistant to Professor Susan Hogan. My research is in Creative Ageing. I have co-authored a book chapter on 'Creative Ageing: The Social Policy Challenge' with my Director of Studies, Professor Hogan, in 'Beyond Late Style: Rethinking Late-Life Creativity' (due for publication, 2018). My research interests include evolving definitions of ageing, participatory arts enagement throughout the life-course and creative research methods. I recently organised a 'Creative Research Methods Symposium' at the University of Derby and administer the University's 'Creative Ageing Research Cluster'. I am the Social Media Officer for the Arts Health Early Career Research Network and a member of The Royal Society of Public Health Arts, Health and Wellbeing Special Interest Group, the British Society of Gerontology and the British Society of Gerontology Emerging Researchers in Aging group.
