  I was born and raised in Ethiopia with a very pious Ethiopian Orthodox family. When I received the Lord Jesus Christa as a savior in 1993, I was lit up in love with the Lord and decided to serve Him until death. Eventually, upon graduation from the Evangelical Theological College in 2004, I gave my full time to ministry in my local church Kolfe Kale Heyewet (Word of Life) church. After serving for around five years as a Teaching and Training Ministry Department Head, the leadership and I came to an agreement that I serve part-time in the church and shift my position to the next Elders' Board General Secretary. Consequently, I served on the Elders Board for two terms (six years), then went back to school for further training. I did my MA in Biblical and Theological Studies and then, MTh in Practical Theology at the Ethiopian Graduate School of Theology. I am happily married to Zenash Degu for more than a decade and am a father of three sons. Currently, I work with Ethiopian Kale Heywet (Word of Life) church, one of the largest Denominations in Ethiopia, as a Senior Training Coordinator. I am teaching and preaching all over Ethiopia and wherever the call comes.
