David began his experimental sound and visual work in Richmond, Virginia while studying at Virginia Commonwealth University. He has exhibited and performed widely at museums, art centers, cultural spaces, and many non-traditional venuas and locations in the United States and Internationally. He has received recent grants and awards from The Nevada Arts Council, The Media Arts Project, ISEA, The Art Production Fund, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Recent exhibits include Currents International New Media Festival, The Neveda Arts Museum, ISEA in Vancouver at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, UAMO Media Arts Festival in Munich Germany, The Barrick Museum in Las Vegas, Alfred University in New York, The Neon Museum of Las Vegas, and The Black Mountain College and Art Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Along with his art practice he is an educator and curator. A native from Spain, David currently teaches at Lake Forest College as Assitant Professor of Sculpture and Expanded Media in the Chicago Area.
