Doris Abrishami is an assistant professor at California state University, Northridge in the department of health sciences. Doris has a master's degree in higher education and currently is in the final stages of receiving her Doctoral degree in Education. Her Dissertation topic is; " The impact of cultural competency education on students of radiography program". She has been a practicing radiographer for the past 20 years and has taught clinical and didactic concepts of radiography for over 18 years. She is the president of California Society of Radiologic Sciences and is passionate about learning and teaching cultural competence and diversity issues in higher education.
