Dr. Dennis C. Bausman has over 30 years experience in construction and construction education. Dr. Bausman currently serves as Professor and Endowed Faculty Chair in the Construction Science & Management (CSM) Department at Clemson University. Prior to joining the faculty at Clemson University he was in large commercial contracting where he held positions in Executive Management, Division Manager, and Project Management over a 22 year career in industry. Dennis is an AIC Certified Professional Constructor, an AIC Fellow, and serves on the board of the American Institute of Constructors. Dr. Bausman is a LEED accredited professional and he serves on the review board for the Associated Schools of Construction, the Construction Industry Institute education committee, AIC’s Construction Certification Commission, and as a member of the Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association. Dr. Bausman has received national recognition for his work including AGC’s National Outstanding Educator Award, ASC’s Outstanding Researcher Award, and the W.A. Klinger Construction Education Award from the American Institute of Constructors for Longstanding Contribution to Construction Education and Distinguished Service to the Advancement of the Construction Profession. Dennis has conducted numerous research efforts and is regularly published in refereed journals and other professional publications.
