Deborah Jackson is a second-year student in the doctoral program at Phillips Graduate University. Once finished, she will hold a Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in Organizational Management and Consulting (PsyD), sometimes also known as industrial psychology. She has taken or is currently enrolled in courses in research and assessment, consulting, psychological theories, organizational communications, organizational theory and behavior, legal and ethical decision-making, and strategic planning. She earned a BA in English from the University of Washington in Seattle and took a full array of journalism courses at LA Pierce College. She has worked for more than 15 years as a freelance editor/writer, ghostwriting and editing academic papers, marketing materials, and business books/documents. She has worked for eight years at Phillips Graduate University. During that time she has written more than 175 blog posts for four academic departments and had an article published in the San Fernando Valley Business Journal, taken and edited photos at various school events, and regularly created content for Phillips’ social media sites.
Less
