  Darren is passionate about improving the health of his community. Darren is a professional exercise physiologist and has worked in the health and performance field for over 25 years. He has consulted within corporations, olympic medalists, world champions and presented to thousands of employees and professionals in the field. Darren has a weekly column on resilience in the chronicle herald andhis most recent book can be found on Amazon "Are you ready?". Darren is an adjunct professor in the school of health and human performance at Dalhousie University. Currently Darren is leading a three year study looking at assessing and skill development in resilience in university age students.
