Daniel Coslett is a former Fulbright student researcher whose work on Tunis continues at the University of Washington’s interdisciplinary Built Environment Ph.D. program in Seattle. As a doctoral candidate there he continues to study colonial, postcolonial and revolutionary North Africa, focusing specifically on intersections among architectural design, urban planning, archaeology and historic preservation, as well as heritage management and tourism development. In recent years he has developed and taught several courses, to both undergraduates and graduate students, in architectural and urban history and analysis, as well as historic preservation.
