  Caroline Vafeas is a senior lecturer at Edith Cowan University in Western Australia. She has taught undergraduate and post graduate education in the fields of gerontology and dementia for the past 12 years. Her previous expereince is in the area of District Nursing in the UK. She completed her BSc(Hons) and Masters degrees at the University of Brighton and her PhD at Edith Cowan University in 2013. Caroline currenlty supervises a number of PhD students. Her research interests are in the areas of gerontology and dementia.
