  A veteran of the newsroom, the classroom, and the research arena, Dr. Carol Terracina-Hartman focuses her reporting, teaching, and studies on environmental communication. A former wildland firefighter and Peace Corps volunteer, she aims to inform her teaching from her scholarship. Her teaching post includes being a faculty media advisor, working closely with campus media. She serves as an officer in College Media Association and First Amendment Coalition.
