Christian Mueller is Associate Professor for Modern European and International History at the University of Nottingham, Ningbo, China (UNNC). After graduating in History, Germanic Literature and Languages, and Political Thought from the Universities of Oxford and Heidelberg (M.Stud., M.A. and DPhil), he was elected Andrew W. Mellon Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for History and Economics, King’s College, Cambridge, and held Lectureships in Modern History at the Universities of Münster, Ghent, and Hildesheim-Göttingen. He was also Acting Director of the Graduate School for “Religion and Politics” in Münster. He was recently elected Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, The Rothermere American Institute, for 2016/17.
