Christine Hancock is the founder and director of C3 Collaborating for Health. A clinician, manager, and economist from LSE, Christine was a CEO in the NHS, and then CEO of the Royal College of Nursing for 12 years. While president of the International Council of Nurses, she was involved in policy-making with the WHO and other UN bodies and visited 50 countries. She was a governor of De Montfort University, was a trustee of a charity for homeless people, and was appointed to the advisory panel for the WHO/PAHO Collaborating Centre to Advance the Policy on Research for Health at Arizona State University. Christine is also a member of the NHS Healthy Workforce Advisory Board, overseeing efforts to create a step change in the health of the 1.2 million-strong NHS workforce.
