Dr. Carolin Rekar Munro, CHRP, CTDP, is Professor in the Faculty of Management at Royal Roads University, serving as intellectual lead for Leadership. Carolin is also an Adjunct Professor at Central Michigan University teaching in the Master of Arts in Education program, and a Visiting Professor in the MBA progam at Mount Meru University in Tanzania. Complementing scholarly work is 20 years of experience collaborating with leaders on change management, employee engagement, organizational renewal, strategic planning, performance management, developing and sustaining high performing teams, succession management, and leadership development (for aspiring leaders, executives, and youth community). Carolin has worked with clients in public and private sectors in Canada, the U.S., South America, parts of Europe and Africa. As well, she has 15 years of experience in non-profit leadership as part of community volunteerism in Canada and abroad. Most notably, Carolin’s works with Education Beyond Borders, serving as Chair of the Advisory Board, member of the Strategic Partnership Committee, member of the Research Committee, and member of the facilitation team working in Tanzania as part of a leadership development and community education project. Carolin’s recent work pertaining to Gen Y has been presented at numerous conferences and published in Canadian Journal of Career Development. It is also the subject of a new book ‘How to Manage the New Generation: Understanding and Meeting the Working Expectations of Generation Y’ published by Impact Publishing.
