  I have been working as an art therapist in a private adult psychiatric hospital for the past 11 years and I am also a practicing visual artist. As an art therapist I facilitate art therapy groups for inpatients and outpatients. The philosophy which underpins my art therapy practice is "art as therapy'.In 2013 I completed an arts based research PhD study through the School of Education at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
