Bonnie L. Prince has consulted for education and communication programs in developing nations and American universities’ programs for at-risk college students and in-service teachers including NASA-sponsored programs for science teachers. She has worked on development projects in 11 developing countries in Africa, western Asia, the Middle East, and southeast Europe, as well as the USA. She conducts organizational planning and development, training, project management, program evaluation and field-based research to understand groups with barriers to education and assist them to access and succeed in education and job preparation. Internationally she has worked with ministries of education and rural schools and is an advocate for building technical-vocational education in developing nations. Her research and publications examine the discourse and interactive processes at the heart of educational organizations, in microcosms of classrooms, in online learning environments, and in broader nationwide cross-sector systems. Prior to 2000, she was a Dean at a technical-community college in the rural Appalachian region of Ohio. She holds a Ph.D., in Organizational Communication and Education Administration and an MA and BA in English Literature in from Ohio University. She resides with her husband in Athens Ohio where she supports projects that educate international students in the USA.
