  Barbara has a degree in history and a MA in Public Humanities at Brown University. She is currently an assistant researcher for the Chilean team of the EU funded "EU-LAC Museums and Community project" and is also the Programme Manager of a Creative Learning initiative developed by Fundación Plades in Frutillar. Barbara collaborates with different small and medium-sized museums in the south of Chile developing initiatives of curation, research, and community work. She is part of the team that is working on reactivating the Chiloé Island Museum Network.
