Dr. Sunny Luthra received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Delhi University, New Delhi, India, and his MsC in Pharmacology from the University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada. He has been a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons since 1992. Currently, Dr. Luthra is an Associate Clinical professor in the Department of Behavioural Neuroscience at McMaster University in Hamilton, ON, Canada, as well as a Research Scientist with the Research Institute for Aging, Schlegel- University of Waterloo in Waterloo, ON. In addition, he serves as the Medical Coordinator in the Program for Older Adults at Homewood Health Centre in Guelph, ON, Canada, and is affiliated in the same capacity with the St. Peter's site of Hamilton Health Science in Hamilton, ON. His clinical research focus is on developing safe pharmacological and affordable non-pharmacological treatment interventions for behaviours in moderate to advanced dementia.
