This is my second year teaching at Capricornia School of Distance Education. I absolutely love the challenge of teaching in a virtual classroom and engaging students through innovative pedagoy. I have an enthusiastic attitude towards literacy and a drive to equip students with a high level of knowledge and understanding of literacy capabilities. I believe students need to be provided with the opportunity to make meaning in literacy through reading and viewing, writing and representing, and talking and listening. My lessons aim to achieve this through explicit instruction and also peer to peer collaborative learning.
