  I graduated in Nursing from the College of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto, University of São Paulo. I am an specialized in Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing by Federal University of São Paulo and also in Hospital Administration and Health Systems. I have a Master in Fundamental Nursing and received the title of Gerontologist from the Brazilian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology. I am a doctoral student in Health Sciences and develop researches in the area of violence against the elderly. I have experience in Nursing on the following research topics: geriatric and gerontological nursing, care of chronic wounds, general aspects of human aging and violence against the elderly. I am currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing, Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Brasilia. Less
