  Dr. Anne E. Doan Van was born and raised in Denmark where she received a Cand. Odont. (DDS) degree at the Royal Dental College of Denmark. She obtained her DDS from The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in the United States where she joined the clinical faculty. Dr. Doan Van completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and subsequently a fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and Dentistry at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, where she taught as a lecturer and clinical faculty. Her experiences also include providing general dentistry care in Private Practice and Public Health Cummunity Clinic settings. Dr. Doan Van joined Western University College of Dental Medicine (WesternU CDM) in 2012 as an assistant professor in the Community Based Dental Program. She currently serves as a Clinical Managing Partner in the Comprehensive Dental Clinic and teaches Geriatirc Dentistry. She is also an adjunct faculty at Family Medicine Residency Program Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center.
