I am a Canada Research Chair in Space Robotics & Space Technology at Carleton University with a research interest in space robotics (author of textbook "An Introduction to Space Robotics" in 2000), planetary rovers (author of textbook "Planetary Rovers" in 2016), in-situ resource utilisation, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, astrobiology, and the role of space exploration to climate change. My educational background is BSc (Hons) Physics, MSc Astronomy, and PhD Astronautics & Space Engineering. I am both a graduate of and subsequently an adjunct lecturer for the International Space University. I am a fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), Institution of Engineering & Technology (FIET) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (FIMechE).
