I have been a public librarian for almost ten years. In that time, I have specialized in library services for older adults, in particular those with memory laws. I have been at the forefront of this movement in the United States and have spoken at a number of library conferences and aging conferences on the topic. I have partnered with arts and cultural institutions -- as well as government and nonprofit groups -- to bring enriching and meaningful programs to older adults in the community. I started one of the first public library Memory Cafes in the country, and I have brought creative aging, health and wellness programming, and tech programs to the older adults in my community. My goal is to do nothing short than to transform what it means to age.
