Good day. This is Mr. Elymar A. Pascual from Talangan Integrated National High School, Philippines. A lot of helpful information can be learned in this theme. Sir Yusof Abdulkarim has given a wonderful option of using computer animated instruction on machine shop practice. Nowadays, 21st century learners are hooked into animated videos and their senses are responsive through this medium. Sir Umar Mohammed Isah has revealed that facilitating learners to be involved in problem solving while the lesson is being unfolded is beneficial to academic achievement. The community program collaboration that Ma’am Cheryl Burleign mentioned in her presentation provides framework on how the community can be involved in school and learners’ development. “A Walk in the Park” by Ma’am Susan Lago once again highlight the importance of experiential learning to make education connected to the world we live in. I would like to access the link given by Doctor Melody D’Ambrosio Deprez about the high leverage practices. It’s interesting. The presentation of Sir Matt Atkinson reminds me how the personal life of a teacher can instill meaningful impact to his teaching and to his learners. Sir Benedict Edward DeDominics' presentation reminds me that the effects of war are passed on from generation to generation. The Positive Pedagogy by Ma’am Tammy R. Smith and Ma’am Silvia Vogel can lead to making learners focus on their strengths rather than their weaknesses. Dr. Roberto Frontera Suau’s Development of a Theme Based Learning shows how teachers respond to the interest of learners. Sir Micheal Van Wyk’s Teaching under COVID-19, on the other hand, shows the flexibility of teachers to adapt their strategy to the needs of the situation. The use of Paired Sample t-test in the research of Dr. Laura Dees and Dr. Misty LaCour has indeed validated the implications of using storybooks. Congratulations everyone.
