Thank you to all the presenters in the Technologies and Learning Section. It is truly amazing how we use technologies in our teaching throughout the globe.
Thank you Satomi Kawaguchi and Thi (Huong) Ho for your presentation on comparing Quizlet and traditional methods in learning a second language vocabulary. The results were very illuminating. There are clear advantages with using Quizlet, but as you say, it is interesting that pronunciation practice is higher for those using traditional flashcards. Your graphs were very clear in showing the differences in outcomes using each method. Best wishes, Silvia Vogel
Interesting presentation, Han Nee Chong, on Measuring Behavioral Engagement Online! Definitely, online education should be participative, interactive and meaningful for the community. Thanks for the engagement grid, in which you clearly differentiated behavioural and psychological engagements. Best regards!
I have watched and listened to all the presentations, they are educating and very relevant in today's learning process. Congratulations to the presenters
I have just looked at Han Nee Chong presentation, which was clear and gave good insights to understand and improve online teaching. Thank you!
Thank you Han Nee Chong for your presentation. Your study and findings were interesting and would provide good grounding for further larger scale research.
Best wishes, Silvia Vogel.
Just viewed Measuring Behavioral Engagement in Online Course As Tracked By Course Management Software. As a current student in an online instructional design certificate program and librarian for many years, I found this well-organized and clearly-presented video to be very pertinent to today's online learning environment.
