7 Affordances Meet Rhizomatic Learning in Medial Education

Here are some interesting thoughts from Paulo Batista, a PhD student in Artificial Intelligence in Brazil, using our "seven affordances" framework to analyze rhizomatic learning in medical education.

"Rhizomatic education prepares students to work with uncertainty. In each step they must think, make decisions, discuss, listen, write to convince, dialogue, accept differences between individuals and develop group work competencies. Rhizomatic education does not have a content focus. Contents are in abundance in the net. Rhizomatic learning focuses on how the student can find these contents, filter them, and how to work and communicate with others about these contents." (Edited and paraphrased - source text here.)
