Indeed, it seems that the misuse of language has become the norm. This fact can also be drawn from the new means of communication that allow public figures to superficially treat the used language. We have a lot of political figures all over the world that don't speak correctly, which unconsciously promotes stupidity because to some extent some of them are role-models for some people.
