Victoria Hurth is Senior Associate at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership, contributing to a range of post-graduate programmes and executive education. Her research focuses on the concept of 'purpose-driven organisations’ – putting sustainable wellbeing at the heart of business success - and the role of marketing, governance, leadership and metrics in delivering this agenda. She is co-creator of the Evolved Marketing Framework: a tool for delivering strategic change through purpose-driven sustainable marketing. Victoria has published research papers and thought pieces in journals including: Nature Climate Change, The New Scientist, Board Leadership, Carbon Management and Sustainable Development. She has 20 years experience of consulting in marketing and sustainability, having previously worked for Accenture with clients including Marks and Spencer, Cancer Research and J Sainsbury. She is a member of the UNCTAD/UNEP task force developing a methodology for SDG indicator 12.6.1, a member of WBCSD’s working group on Governance and Convenor of the first ISO global governance standard ‘Guidance for Governance of Organisations’ (ISO37000). She is a Non-Executive Director of the Soil Association Certification Ltd and FTB Lawsons Ltd. Victoria is a Chartered Manager, Chartered Marketer and a founder member of the South West Mutual Community Bank. She has been engaged by organisations such as The British Council, British Standards Institute and LEAD International, and was a founder Director of the first social enterprise pub in Plymouth.
