Membership Cards

Each membership is represented by a unique card.

Card ID

The Card ID is an alpha-numeric code unique to each Membership Card.

Research Network

The Research Network is listed on each Membership Card. Each membership includes a one-year electronic subscription to that network's book and journal content. To locate your subscription information, log in to your CGScholar account and visit your CGScholar Library.

Electronic subscriptions include twelve months of electronic access beginning on the date your membership is acquired. In the event that members have an existing subscription for the same content, the existing subscription will be extended by an additional twelve months.

Method

The method shows how each specific Membership Card was acquired.

Memberships can be acquired directly through the membership registration portal; these cards will list "Network Membership" as the method. Memberships can also be acquired when registering for an event; these cards will list "Membership from Event" as the method. The code listed after "Membership from Event" identifies the event registration tied to that card.

Author Benefit - Status

The Status of the Author Benefit indicates if this membership can be used to publish an article in the network's journal or journal collection. The Author Benefit for each Membership Card is a one-time use item.

When the status is listed as "Available," this card can be used to proceed past the Membership Confirmation step of the journal publication process. If the status is listed as "Unavailable," the card has already been applied to an article. The "Use" will note which article used this card.
