The Museums as the Classroom: Teaching History, Culture, and Heritage Using Cultural Landscapes

Abstract

This talk showcases the potential of the museum as an alternative to the classroom teaching. Using selected online and actual museums, the study develops a module that utilizes public landscapes that will deepen and enhance the critical thinking and appreciation of students of culture and history. The inquiry also includes the prospects and challenges of these kind of materials.
