Virtual Subject in the Expository Society in the Digital Age

Abstract

This paper discusses the emergence of expository society in the digital age and its influence on human relationships which constitute de-constitute and re-constitute in virtual reality. The legitimacy and recognition of all applications, friendship websites, blog and online dating services and the normalization to have emotional relationships from this portals need to redefine private life and the different between intimacy and work life. The individual become voluntarily much more marketised and exposed in the new digital age. Thus, it debates the simultaneity opportunities of the new technologies such as smart phones, tablets, laptops, and its commodification factors on individual.
