Abstract
Wellness is the active process of awareness and choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. There are a variety of societal and cultural influences that can be of support and/or hindrance to our holistic health and wellness. In this workshop, participants will explore how wellness/health education can connect societal issues including gender, race/ethnicity, and culture to personal wellness.
