"Societal inequity makes us vulnerable to pandemics – findings from an inquiry into experiences around Covid-19"


Michael Strange is an Associate Professor (Docent) at the Department of Global Political Studies, Malmö University, Sweden, and a member of the Malmö Institute for Studies of Migration, Diversity & Welfare (MIM). His transdisciplinary work covers health, trade, civil society, and migration politics. He currently leads an externally funded project titled ‘Precision Health & Everyday Democracy’ (PHED) for Malmö University, which draws upon the health and social sciences. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the project runs an online public inquiry with policy-makers from the WHO and local government, civil society, health practitioners, and researchers around the future of healthcare (https://phed.uni.mau.se/).
