A Case Study on the Impact of Generative AI in Enhancing Student Exploration of Personal Creative Strengths and Strategies in a University Course

Abstract

The research investigates how generative AI tools can aid students in understanding their creative strengths and developing personalized strategies to enhance their creativity. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the study combines assessments of creative outputs with qualitative feedback from students. The goal is to examine the role of AI in fostering a deeper understanding of individual creative processes and to evaluate the effectiveness of AI in facilitating personalized creative development. Findings from this study provide insights into the pedagogical benefits of integrating generative AI into creative education, potentially guiding curriculum enhancements that can emphasize personalized learning paths. The implications extend to educational strategies, suggesting ways to incorporate AI tools that support and amplify student creativity in diverse learning environments.
