The On Sustainability Case Study day aims to get In-Person Delegates "into the field" for a first hand experience of an attempt to address environmental, cultural, economic or social sustainability.

In-Person delegates will visit the RAIZ Forest and Paper Research Institute on our On Sustainability Case Study morning. RAIZ Forest and Paper Research Institute is a private non-profit organization recognized as a Research and Technology Organization within the Portuguese Scientific and Technological System. It aims to optimize, from a cost/benefit point of view, the competitive advantages of the national forest industry while ensuring its sustainability. Delegates will gain insight into their programs, activities, and approaches to producing and transforming knowledge into products and services in the forest, pulp, paper, and forest-based biorefinery areas.
