Abstract

Our goal is to benchmark and identify patterns on the initiatives recommended for a sustainable event. We implemented a Sustainable Corporate Retreats Pilot program. We have research Sustainable Event Guides and checklists available online. Over 80 guides and checklists was compiled to seek statistical significance for this framework. Event organizers include: municipalities, universities, convention bureaus in different countries in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia to provide for diversity of issues and recommended actions. Research sought to identify key players (Harvard, MIT, Sydney, Oslo, Berlin, Holland, and others) and others that could enhance credibility.
