Distributed Power Generation as an International Solution to Energy Supply Problems

Abstract

The great demand and high price of fossil resources in the international market, as well as the lack of availability of electric energy in underdeveloped countries, present the generation of electric energy in the building or close to the consumer as a solution for energy self-supply. This paper describes the economic and environmental benefits of its use.
