Ljubljana is the vibrant capital of one of the youngest countries in Europe. However, it has a long history: from the oldest wooden wheel, found in its Marshland; remains from Roman times through Mediaeval times; Baroque, Art Nouveau influences, to the period of UNESCO heritage Jože Plečnik urban city planning. On our guided city tour, we will get familiar with the past and today's life. We will enjoy the charming city sites: Ljubljanica Riverbanks, City Hall, St Nicholas Cathedral's main door, Three, Cobbler, Butcher, and Dragon Bridge, and today's city center Prešeren's Square.
