A Solution to Plastic Waste from Hygiene Products : Biodegradable and Organic Alternatives

Abstract

The research is focused on the innovation of biodegradable sanitary napkins and other hygiene products to reduce plastic waste and to reduce health risks and diseases in women caused by the synthetic sanitary napkins. One pack of conventional sanitary napkins is equal to four plastic bags. In the world around 100 billion hygiene products end up in seas and shores every year. The solution we offer are pads that are natural cotton, renewable, and developed with sustainable plant based material.
