Abstract

Buddhist psychology offers essential teachings of mindfulness and meditation. Buddhism is the root of western, third wave psychological approaches in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention. Attendees to this presentation will learn essential Buddhist teachings to promote sustainability and to better serve clients using these approaches.
