Abstract
This paper reviews my initiative’s goal to connect sanitation to agriculture by using eco-sanitized byproducts (feces and urine) as fertilizers while remaining mindful of the environment and improving agricultural productivity and livelihoods of the population. This process helps citizens to prevent diarrheal diseases that arise from the lack of sanitation facilities as ECOSAN latrines are cheap and easy to build. Furthermore, It supports farmers to use ECOSAN byproducts as fertilizers.
