In addition to the conference, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is holding the 'Future Landscapes' symposium on February 24 2021. This symposium is open to all registered conference delegates. 09:30 - 10:45: TERRANOVA session with Sjoerd Kluiving and Peter Verburg and ESRs Elena  Pearce, Alexandre Martinez, Leen Felix and Catherine Fayet

11:15 - 12:30: HERILAND session with Gert-Jan Burgers, Linde Egberts, Pirouz Nourian and ESRs Marilena Mela, Anna Tonk and Nan Bai

13:30 - 13:45: Synthesis and reflection. Premiere of TERRANOVA and HERILAND promotional videos.

13:45 - 14:05: Keynote by Michael Turner (UNESCO)

14:05 – 15:00: Debate and discussion with HERILAND and TERRANOVA, concluded with an original song by musician and comedian Kiki Schippers
