Abstract
Through a literature review, an analysis of successful “coaching mindset” techniques is compared between corporate executives and sports coaches. In addition, real examples and thematic data is shared from interviewing six corporate executives and six sports coaches. It shows that the hypothesis of “coaching mindset” techniques transfer from corporate coaching into sports coaching and lead to team success, whether the field is corporate success or the winning of various sports games. A job aid is also shared with recommendations that can be adopted by executives or sports coaches and incorporated into leadership development programs and sports coach training.
