Exercise at Home during the COVID-19 and Its Effect on Reducing Athlete Stress

Abstract

With the advent of Coronavirus and quarantine in many countries, physical activity has now clearly declined. The purpose of this study is to review exercise at home during the pandemic and its effect on reducing athlete stress. For this systematic review study, searches were made on PubMod and Google Scholar databases. Articles in English and Persian in magazines that had a pre- publication judging process and examined the effect of electronic games and online reality on people’s physical health, as well as reviewing reputable news sites and news in the field of sports events were selected. In a review of several articles, it was observed that inactivity, mental and motor lethargy, decreased attention and concentration, depression and anxiety are among the complications of prolonged non-exercise during coronary artery disease. Technical strategies and psychological therapy are also about preventing stress and anxiety, motor activation, and according to the stress and anxiety that people have due to the coronavirus, according to these studies, they need sports activities to prevent stress. Athletes and ghosts should exercise to reduce stress at home.
